2. Adam Lambert - Polarizing, but he's the most talented.
3. Alexis Grace - Not her best, but no reason to drop her yet.

4. Lil Rounds - Other formats will be friendlier.
5. Allison Iraheta - Tempting to bump up, but why rush?

6. Anoop Desai - An aberration, or a revelation?

7. Matt Giraud - In need of a breakout performance.

8. Kris Allen - I need to accept he's well-liked, but I can't.
